01 / THE STORY SO FAR

01 / THE STORY SO FAR

Inside the world’s largest agencies.

Inside the world’s largest agencies.

I’ve spent more than a decade navigating the intersection of media, business and public affairs. From advising global brands and navigating New York politics to helping independent businesses find their audience, I’ve learned that the most interesting stories aren’t always the most obvious ones.

At Ketchum, Porter Novelli, Weber Shandwick and Edelman, I developed media strategies for major financial institutions and technology companies. My work included executive thought leadership, national media relations and translating complicated subjects—from financial inclusion to artificial intelligence—into stories that journalists and their audiences care about.

My background also includes presidential campaigns and the New York State Senate, where I developed an appreciation for fast-moving news cycles, effective messaging and the relationships behind successful communications. My earliest professional experiences included an unlikely combination of the New York Stock Exchange and organizing for Barack Obama.

Today, I lead marketing and communications for the Mount Dora Area Chamber of Commerce while advising Cre8torStudio.ai, an emerging AI-native marketing startup. My work combines traditional media relations with editorial publishing, digital marketing and community engagement.

I’m particularly drawn to organizations with something new to offer. I enjoy getting involved early, finding the opportunity others might overlook and developing the communications that help an idea build momentum.

02 / THE WORK BEHIND THE WORDS

Different channels. One compelling story.

Different channels. One compelling story.

A media placement can introduce an idea to millions. Original content can make it personal. Thoughtful strategy and event promotion turn that attention into participation—connecting important stories with the people who can show up, share them and act on them.

01 / MEDIA RELATIONS

Finding the angle that earns attention.

I’ve spent my career developing relationships with journalists, positioning executives as authoritative voices and identifying the newsworthy angles behind complicated subjects.

From major national business publications to local newsrooms, I develop pitches and media strategies grounded in what makes a story relevant, timely and worth reporting.

02 / CONTENT MARKETING

Creating content with something to say.

I turn expertise, interviews and interesting ideas into editorial content that people actually want to consume.

My work includes original business profiles, long-form features, digital publications, executive content and social storytelling. I particularly enjoy transforming one compelling conversation into an entire collection of stories tailored to different audiences and platforms.

03 / EDITORIAL STRATEGY

Making every story work harder.

An earned-media placement doesn’t have to be the end of a campaign. It can become the foundation for thought leadership, original content, digital engagement and entirely new conversations.

I connect earned, owned and social media to create communications programs that have purpose beyond the initial announcement.

03 / THE EXPERIENCE

Different industries. Different audiences. A career built around communication.

I’ve worked across corporate boardrooms, political campaigns, emerging startups and local communities. Each environment has sharpened a different part of my approach to communications.

CORPORATE & FINANCIAL SERVICES

Making complex subjects part of the national conversation.

At leading global communications agencies, I’ve developed and led media-relations programs for Mastercard, Truist, FICO, CFA Institute, IBM and The Weather Company.

My experience spans executive positioning, thought leadership, corporate reputation and national media relations, covering subjects including payments innovation, financial inclusion, artificial intelligence and emerging technology.

I’ve helped secure coverage and executive opportunities with major business publications including The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg and the Financial Times.

POLITICAL COMMUNICATIONS & PUBLIC AFFAIRS

Working where the news never stops.

As Digital Director for New York State and the Democrats Abroad Global Primary during Mike Bloomberg’s 2020 campaign, I led social, email, text, design and rapid-response programs. I also served as Press Secretary and Digital Director for a Hudson Valley congressional race, shaping the campaign’s media and voter-facing communications.

As Deputy Chief of Staff and Communications Director for a New York State Senate district serving roughly 320,000 residents, I guided media strategy, digital communications, constituent-service operations and community engagement for Senator Todd Kaminsky and the Long Island Senate Majority delegation. I advised on district issues, pitched statewide and local media, and led public events, town halls, press conferences and stakeholder programs.

COMMUNITY & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Turning local attention into real-world impact.

As Communications & Marketing Director for the Mount Dora Area Chamber of Commerce, I lead communications and marketing initiatives that support local businesses, tourism and economic development.

My work combines regional media outreach, original editorial content, digital publishing, event promotion and integrated campaigns. In 2026, I spearheaded the first grassroots Mount Dora Area Restaurant Week, bringing 27 businesses together, generating more than 2,500 regional RSVPs and earning substantial media coverage without a dedicated marketing budget. I have also helped drive record attendance for Chamber events including Mount Dora Taste, the Mount Dora Jane Austen Fest and the Florida Storytelling Festival.

I’m also a leader of Lake Young Professionals, helping bring together emerging and established professionals and strengthen relationships across the Lake County business community.

EMERGING TECHNOLOGY & STARTUPS

Helping new ideas find their audience.

Alongside my Chamber role, I advise Cre8torStudio.ai, an emerging AI-native marketing platform designed for creators, entrepreneurs and growing businesses. I work with its founding team on positioning, messaging, earned media and go-to-market storytelling, helping translate an ambitious technology vision into a compelling story for prospective customers and the media.

My earlier agency work focused on startups, innovation and new-technology categories, partnering with founders and executives to refine positioning and bring products to market across consumer tech, AI, robotics, fintech, travel tech, digital media and VR. I translated complex technology into clear, compelling stories for national and trade media.
